Chemist Warehouse Optometry was established in early 2023 as Chemist Warehouse’s flagship eye health services platform. Our optometrists work closely with pharmacists and other health professionals to deliver enhanced health outcomes.

As part of our commitment to provide patients with the best optometric care, we’ve invested in advanced diagnostic technology for all our clinic locations. We offer this to all patients 100% free of charge as part of our Medicare bulk-billed eye examinations – this means there are no out-of-pocket costs.

As standard, this covers free:

• Advanced OCT 3D eyescan
• Widefield retinal imaging
• AI (Artificial Intelligence) analysis

By including this technology with every bulk billed eye examination for no additional fee, we’re able to track every patient’s vision and eye health over time, facilitating early detection and treatment of serious eye conditions. We collaborate closely with local ophthalmologists in each community we serve to ensure timely appointments and intervention.

As a Diabetes Eye Health Check provider, we’re also aligned to Diabetes Australia’s KeepSight initiative, ensuring all patients with diabetes are notified on a timely basis of the need for their regular diabetes eye check.
